Friday, July 26, 9:00 - 11:30 am Bears will practice for the first time.
Saturday, July 27, 9:00 - 11:30 am --
Vamos Bears Xfinity: There will be kids games, Latin music, autographs
and giveaways. That sounds like a fun little Saturday. It's way better
than going to the Home Depot and Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Sunday, July 28, 9:00 - 11:30 am
Monday, July 29, 9:00 - 11:30 am
Wednesday, July 31, 9:00 - 11:30 am
-- Ladies Day: To entice women to head to Boubonnais, the Bears will
offer salon and spa services. As a lady who has been to Bourbonnais for
training camp and has had spa services, this is making me laugh. Every
time I've been there, I've been covered in sweat. The sun and heat do
not mix well with a manicure or a hair appointment. If some ladies find
this enticing, go for it, but kinda missing the mark here, Bears.
Thursday, August 1, 9:00 - 11:30 am
Friday, August 2, 9:00 - 11:30 am -- Bears BBQ Bash: It's what it sounds like. Bears, Bourbonnais, and barbecue.
Saturday, August 3 6:45 pm - 8:45 pm
(Soldier Field) -- Family Fest: Don't want to make the trip down
I-57? Save this Saturday night for the Bears. They run a practice, do
promotions and giveaways, and there are fireworks. Fireworks!
Monday, August 5,3:15 - 5:00 pm --
Armed Forces Day: Special seating will be in place for uniformed members
of the Armed Forces. Check out the USO of Illinois for more
information.
Tuesday, August 6, 9:00 - 11:30 am
Wednesday, August 7, 9:00 - 11:30 am
-- Youth Football Day: If you know any youth football players or
cheerleaders, tell them to head to Bourbonnais in their uniforms. They
will be entered to win prizes.
Sunday, August 11, 3:15 - 5:00 pm --
Run with Staley: Wait, run with Staley? As in Staley the
Bear? Hopefully, this is a race because I think I could beat him.
According to the Bears, participants get a T-shirt, so that's pretty
cool.
Monday, August 12, 9:00 - 11:30 am
Tuesday, August 13, 9:00 - 11:30 am: Camp breaks the next day as the Bears head back to Halas Hall.
